Hi I’m Julie Kenny
I’m a speaking confidence coach for women in business, and to be honest, I’m daily surprised by that. I’m still an introvert, just one that enjoys speaking and helping others to find their voice.
In 2009, after years of being petrified of any form of public speaking I joined Toastmasters International and began my speaking journey. 2020 was the year I finally achieved my DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster Award). That award required me to give many speeches in various settings, mentor fellow members, host events, run workshops and take on leadership roles I never imagined.
Along the way I learnt that confidence is multi-faceted and what helps one person will not necessarily help another. I use a very holistic approach to my coaching, looking at developing confidence in ways that best support my clients as well as developing the core skills of speech writing and delivery.
I regularly meet women who tell me they are happy to speak on any stage – provided it’s not about themselves and their business. I’m here to change that.
I’m still an active member of Toastmasters International and often recommend clubs to my clients who are looking for regular experience with a full and varied audience.
