1 to 1 Coaching with Julie

You already have something worth saying.

The work is learning to say it as yourself.

This isn't really about speaking.

Most of the women I work with come to me because they want to get better at presenting, pitching, or talking about their business. And we do work on that. But that's rarely where the real shift happens.

What I find, almost every time, is that the thing holding a woman back isn't a lack of skill. It's the weight of everything she's been told, directly or indirectly, about whether her voice, her ambition, her way of doing things is valid.

Once that lifts, the speaking takes care of itself.

This is for you if…

You're a woman running your own business and you know, somewhere, that you're not showing up as fully as you could. You might be avoiding speaking opportunities, underselling yourself in conversations, or finding that people don't quite grasp the value of what you do.

You might already be speaking, networking, pitching. But something isn't landing the way it should. The rooms aren't changing. The clients aren't converting. And you're starting to wonder whether it's something about you.

It isn't. But it is about you, in the best possible way.

What this isn't.

It isn't a course. It isn't a template. It isn't me telling you how to speak like someone else.

I'm not here to turn you into a polished version of a person you're not. I'm here to partner with you, properly, in uncovering the speaker you already are and helping you take that out into the world.

The women I work with are breaking moulds, often without quite realising it yet. They're building businesses that don't follow the expected script, and they need a voice that reflects that. Not a borrowed one.

Women I've worked with

Gulshen Bano

Strike Back Self Defence

When Gulshen Bano came to me she was already speaking and pitching for her business. She didn’t need to learn how to stand up in front of a room. What she needed was for her talks to land with more structure and impact to support her business growth.

After working together, Gulshen increased franchise sales off the back of her talks. In January 2026, she appeared on BBC Dragons’ Den and secured investment.

This is what I mean when I say it’s never really about the speaking. Gulshen already had the story, the passion, and the business. The work was helping her shape it into something that moved people to act.

We did a couple of sessions together about getting more structure in my talk and it was so helpful. I think my talk in Belfast this week was one of the best I’ve delivered!”

Styling with Lucy

Lucy was used to being confident in her previous corporate background and is a real people person, but she was still finding her feet in her new era.  She was more used to representing another person’s branding than her own, so being herself in front of an audience was something  to get used to.

We worked together on creating engaging and interactive talks that brought out the bubbly personality her existing clients already know and love.

Lucy always brings engaging energy and her own unique way of working with colour and style that never feels forced upon her clients.
Together we worked on her confidence to be her natural self delivered through effective speaking skills

“I learned so much about how to speak confidently and, more importantly, how to engage an audience. I now feel far more confident talking about my business and sharing my story in a way that connects with people.”

Haze Davison

Unphazed

Haze has an energy that captivates a room, but with so much expertise and aspects of business ranging from fitness trainer, doula, networking builder and more, sometimes keeping on track can be a challenge.

Our work together has enabled Haze to see how those aspects of her business are expressions of the same deep core which is now reflected in her introductions and keynote speeches.

Now she’s adding keynote speaker to her role.

For Haze it was about clarity and communication skills.  Now she’s not just engaging, she’s able to engage with intention, leaving positive impact on her audience and her business

Haze Davison

“The workshop really helped gain some clarity about what I want to say at networking events. Really recognising how unique and different we all are and bringing out those points as a group.”

How we work together.

This is bespoke. That’s not a word I use lightly. I don’t have a fixed programme I run you through. What I have is a way of working that looks at clarity, confidence and communication skills, and we go as deep as we need to on each one.

“I was finding it hard to market and talk about my business in a way that helped people to really get it. I’d waffle on and on in circles and people would smile and say ‘how lovely’ and move on. But now I feel much more confident and understand what people need to hear and why.”
